Pastor Scott Morris

Pastor/Teaching Elder

I am an ex-Army chaplain transplanted to Chelan in April 2012 with my wife, Kristi of 22 years and four children. We love the valley and all benefits of living in a smaller community with tons of outdoor activities all year round. My free time is spent coaching football, working on cars, wood working, and watching Nebraska football. My heart's desire is to see God glorified through His children as they disciple each other, evangelize together by living life together in the community.

Jeffrey Chambers

Student Ministries Pastor and Elder

I grew up in Marina, California. In 2011, I married my best friend and partner in ministry, Lizzy. I graduated from Cal State Monterey Bay with a degree in Liberal Studies in 2007. I worked in informal education for five years, until 2011 when I was called into full time ministry. In 2012, Lizzy and I moved to Chelan. I have a passion for my middle school and high school friends to meet and grow in their relationship with Christ Jesus. I coach football and the head wrestling coach for Chelan High Mountain Goats, and the YoungLife volunteer Area Director. My favorite team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Office Administrator

I am so blessed to be a part of this church family. I have worked in the secretarial field for over 24 years. It is a wonderful thing to use the talents God has given me over the years for His Glory. What a great joy it is to be able to say every day, "I love my job and the people I work with and for."

I worked most of my professional career as an Electrical Engineer in Redmond, WA, retired in 2007, and we moved to Chelan. Kathy and I will celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary in March 2016. I’ve been doing sound and singing/playing worship music in church for about 35 years.

My wife Orlanna and I moved to this valley when our first child was very little. We were attracted to this church because of the programs that were for families with children, as well as the strong Bible-based teaching we heard. I have worked in our community as a Park Ranger for more than 30 years. I would have retired almost ten years ago, but I am afraid that I wouldn’t know what shirt to wear when I get up in the morning. I desire to grow in my understanding of the Gospel -- not only what the Bible says but what great men of the faith have taught about God’s Word. I stand ready to serve our Lord and this congregation. Presently I have been given the chance to work with our missionaries and help our congregation build a rich, two-way missions program.

Stephanie Anderson

Deaconess of Music

I came to Chelan almost 30 years ago when my husband and I married. I have two beautiful step-daughters who, with their wonderful husbands, have given us six grandchildren. My husband and I have been a part of LSC for almost as long as we've been married & I've served in music for most of that time. I'm grateful that Jesus calls me to do something that's so much fun! I also work as a nurse four days a week. In my "off" time, I enjoy spending time with family (especially those amazing grandkids). Camping with family and friends or just us and the dog.

Kelsy Bordner

Deaconess of Children's Ministry

I have been blessed to be a believer of Jesus practically my entire life. (Although it took a couple decades for me to fully surrender to Him.) I have always been passionate about kids. In my life before Chelan I spent 7 years teaching elementary school. It's a blessing to now have the opportunity to use my gifts to teach our children about the truth of Jesus Christ and what it means to be HIs church. I am super blessed to spend my life with my amazing husband, Robert, and our beautiful daughters, Reese & Kendall.
